Dear Erasmus Partner,

I am very happy to announce that we are able to offer a number of tuition fee scholarships for the Leeds International Summer School (LISS): www.leeds.ac.uk/summer

The LISS Exchange Partner Scholarships are only available to students from our reciprocal exchange partners and are worth £1600, covering the tuition for the full four weeks. Scholarship recipients will therefore only have to pay a total of £850 towards accommodation, trips and the social programme. A list of our reciprocal exchange partners can be found at http://www.leeds.ac.uk/studyabroad/incomers/downloads.htm

We have 2 scholarships for students from exchange partners in each of the following areas:
* USA and Canada
* Europe
* Asia and Australasia
* Latin America, Mexico, South Africa

The deadline for scholarship applications is April 23rd although, as the first eligible students to apply will be given top priority, we encourage interested students to apply as soon as possible so they don't miss out. Could you please circulate this email to your students so they are aware of the opportunity and the deadline for applying.

Students wanting to apply for the scholarship must submit their full application via e-mail (summer@leeds.ac.uk) stating within the e-mail message that they wish to be considered for the LISS Exchange Partner Scholarship.

The University of Leeds will be closed for the Easter holidays from Thursday April 1st - Tuesday April 6th so applications sent during this time will receive notification of receipt by Friday April 9th.

Successful scholarship applicants will be contacted via e-mail. For those students who are successful, the full balance of £850 must be paid within 7 days of receiving their scholarship offer. Failure to do so will result in the scholarship being cancelled, although they will still be able to attend LISS at full cost.
